MEP were contracted to complete a technical due diligence assessment of a major cage-based producer of tilapia in Kenya, on the behalf of a private equity firm. The assessment required a full technical review of the business’s operations (hatchery through to processing) and also an operational review, including staffing numbers and competencies, management decision making etc.
MEP also benchmarked the business against industry standard KPIs, and made some key recommendation for improvements.
