MEP were contracted, with our colleagues in the Control Union Thailand and Indonesia offices, to complete social audits on the Thailand and Indonesia fresh tuna supply to Thai Union.
To date, 32 vessels have been audited to determine conformity levels. The work also included a bench-marking exercise against Thai and Indonesian legislation requirements and recommendations on how to move forward with Vessel Improvement Programmes in the near future.
