MacAlister Elliott & Partners Ltd (MEP) were contracted to assess a claim relating to a cargo of frozen mackerel which was caught by Chinese trawlers.
The catch was offloaded on to the reefer vessel FRIO PACIFIC. This suffered engine problems and had to transfer its cargo in Tema Roads to the SARONIC BREEZE, before it was discharged in Lagos and Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
