MEP conducted a study to give an overview of the fishery resources, recorded and reported landings and other matters pertaining to the claim by Egyptian Fishermen’s Associations relating to the grounding in heavy weather of the R.R. Jolly Amaranto off Alexandria in December 2010.
The study covers different aspects of the issues in relation to the claim, as well as giving an overview of the fisheries of the Mediterranean and, in particular, landings of catch in Alexandria.
