MEP was contracted by a UK based private equity company to complete a review of the three major bass and bream companies in Greece (Nireus, Selonda and Dias) with an eye towards a possible purchase offer in 2017-2018 during the Greek Bank sell off.
The review was completed by a team of MEP experts and covered the company’s financial, technical and operational performance. It considered the strengths and weaknesses of each business and provided recommendations and opportunities for improvement within each. These opportunities included the streamlining of infrastructure, reduction in processing facilities, retraining of staff and reorganization of senior management.
MEP provided conclusions on possible investment strategies, future market opportunities and financial returns from the company and industry as a whole.
