MEP were contracted to complete a technical due diligence assessment of a major fully integrated aquaculture producer on behalf of a private equity firm. The main aim of the due diligence was to assess the technical capacity and capability of the aquaculture facilities with a clear focus on the bass and bream sectors. The assessment required a full technical review of the business’s operations (from hatchery through to processing), including staffing numbers and competencies, management decision making etc.
