MEP have been providing certification services to the global organic aquaculture industry since 2015.
Throughout the group, shrimp, tilapia, seaweed and micro-algae farms have been assessed for compliance against the EU Organic requirements (as defined by EC Regulations 834/2007 and 889/2008). The work has included assessments of multiple aquaculture facilities throughout Asia including Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and Vietnam.
