MEP were contracted by the Southern Indian Ocean Tuna Initiative (SIOTI) to provide an evaluation of the Indian Ocean yellowfin tuna stock in relation to the current rebuilding plan and possible alternative management options.
The work was completed from the Seychelles during the 2018 Yellowfin Scientific meeting of IOTC and considered the new rebuilding plan. Management options were outlined to the client for further discussion amongst SIOTI.
