MEP were contracted with our colleagues in the Control Union, Thailand office to complete social audits on the national supply fleet to Thai Union. The audits were completed against the Thai Union Vessel Code of Conduct requirements.
32 vessels were audited across the country to determine conformity levels. The work also included a bench-marking exercise against Thai legislation requirements and recommendations on how to move forward with Vessel Improvement Programmes in the near future.
