MEP worked with WWF to complete assessments which were aimed to provide consumer advice related to sustainable seafood. Over 90 assessments were completed from fisheries worldwide.
The methodology was designed to evaluate impacts from a particular fishery which targets a specific species using a certain capture method. Impacts on stock health, wider marine ecosystem implications as well as stock dynamics and the management of the respective fishery were reviewed.
