MEP was commissioned to undertake a fisheries assessment of an area of the Skagerrak Sea, to assess the potential effect of fishing activities on an existing submarine cable between Norway and Sweden. The assessment included all active and future fisheries in the area, the current and expected fishing effort, fishing methods, gear specifications and management trends.
