Advice was provided through informal and formal presentations to managers of fish landing centres on the Atlantic coast of Gambia on how to prepare business plans as a first step to obtaining much needed working and investment capital for small scale fisheries.
The mission also instructed managers on the importance and means of preparing proper budget projections with particular attention to amortization and provision for spares and maintenance of important capital items.
